Format and Content Requirements
Explore our collection of case reports, highlighting detailed treatment plans and outcomes achieved through precise orthodontic techniques. Each report follows the standard format, presenting pretreatment records, treatment plans, and post-treatment results side-by-side for easy comparison and a deeper understanding of treatment with the Tweed/Merrifield force systems and the standard edgewise appliance.
Preparing and presenting case reports is also a key step toward Fellowship in the Foundation, as members must submit clinical material demonstrating esthetics, health, stability, and growth-focused treatment. Reviewing these examples will guide you in both the required format and level of detail expected for Fellowship consideration.
Case Report Requirements
Case reports, which show the treatment plan and the results of carefully delivered treatment, are posted below. Normally, two to three case reports are available for the viewer. The format for each case report is:
- Pretreatment records
- Treatment Plan
- The post-treatment records will be shown “opposite” the pretreatment records. The post-treatment records will be on the right-hand side of the viewing screen, and pretreatment records will be on the left-hand side for easy comparison.
